A bunch of great Volleyball stars like Pavel Abramov, Anna Baranska and Magdalena Sliwa, even though playing for different teams, gathered together before the start of the 2009/2010 CEV Indesit Champions League. This very unusual meeting took place at the Planetary in Katowice, a city that stands out as a kind of Volleyball “Mecca” in Poland.
Three teams from the Upper Silesia region, located in Southern Poland, take part in the upcoming CEV Indesit Champions League. These are JASTRZEBSKI Wegiel S.A. that benefited of a wild card to enter in the men's competition, plus Aluprof BIELSKO-BIALA and Enion Energia MKS DABROWA GORNICZA in the women’s division.
It was an idea of Mr. Zdzislaw Grodecki, President of JASTRZEBSKI Wegiel S.A., to organize a common press conference with the stars of the three teams, along with their respective coaches and officials.
